Ep. 36: Wisdom on Aging from New York Times Columnist, Paula Span

“Young is not a compliment, old is not an insult, it’s just where you happen to be in the life cycle.”

Summary:

The world is changing quickly around aging—how can we ever stay on top of what’s going on? Luckily we’ve got my guest today—Paula Span—to help us know about the trends, controversies, and stories that affect that demographic.

On today’s episode, we talk about what inspired The Bubbe Diaries, why we don’t talk about “grandparenting” as much as we do “parenting”, and the changing world of aging.
