Growing older is a natural part of life, but it can also bring with it a range of challenges. From physical limitations to ageism, it can be difficult to find a sense of purpose and joy in the process.

Missy Buchanan, an internationally renowned author and speaker on aging and faith, has dedicated her life to helping others find hope in the midst of these struggles. She is an internationally renowned author and speaker on aging and faith. She has appeared on Good Morning America and has co-authored a book with Robin Roberts. Her first book, Living With Purpose in a Worn Out Body, remains a top seller. Missy’s message of hope and faith has reached thousands of people, counteracting the effects of ageism. In addition to her books, Missy has written articles on intergenerational relationships and how older adults can be proactive in planning their own future. 

On today’s episode, Missy shares her journey of becoming an author and speaker, which began with her own experiences as a caregiver to her aging parents and how that inspired her to write her own/She encourages people to use their gifts to serve others, to practice change in order to stay flexible, to limit cable news, talk radio, social media, and more.
